IAA's senior execs to study US digital media on visit to Microsoft, Google, Disney

MUMBAI:The India chapter of International Advertising Association (IC IAA) has mobilized a 22 member CEO delegation to undertake a study tour of developments in new age media in the United States of America.

This is the first time that the IC IAA has organised such an initiative. The trip will cover visits to Microsoft at Seattle, Yahoo! at Sunnyvale, Google at Mountain View and Disney at Los Angeles, the Indian delegation will have a first-hand overview of the latest developments in the digital space and in media convergence. The agenda will also include an exchange of views and ideas with senior executives at these companies.


The delegation comprises senior professionals representing marketing, advertising and media sector including Sam Balsara, Ishan Raina, Sandeep Goel, Bhaskar Das, Sunder Swamy, Gautam Rakshit among others.

Zee Group CEO and IC IAA president Pradeep Guha said, "This is a recognition of the rapid changes taking place in new age media and their definite implications on the Indian business scenario. I am heartened by the overwhelming participation we got from senior members of our fraternity and the response we received from leading global companies in the USA."

NDTV Media CEO and IC IAA vice president Raj Nayak said, "Along with the lecture series branded "International Indians", this was a novel and proactive step by the IC IAA to focus on global developments in a manner that would serve the interests of the Indian industry."
