MUMBAI: Multiplex chain Cinemax has announced a slew of tie-ups which it hopes will help in easier ticket booking and convenience for patrons.

It has tied-up with Voice Mentor Softwares which will provide mobile ticketing solutions. Patrons who book tickets via internet, phone (telebooking) or SMS booking will get an SMS in the form of a bar code on their mobiles. This bar code has to be flashed at the Cinemax's box-office and the tickets will be handed over to the patrons.

In another tie-up, with Ags Infotech, there will be a multi-utility kiosk at 25 Hindustan Petroleum (HPCL) outlets in Mumbai. Patrons wishing to book tickets for Cinemax can book it from these kiosks by cash or credit card.

There would be collaterals available on the e-kiosk to inform the customers about different services that can be availed from the kiosk (mobile bill payment, cinema ticket booking, air ticket booking).

There is also a coalition loyalty programme wherein patrons can earn points from different partners (Cinemax, Airtel, HPCL, ICICI, Indian Airlines, Lifestyle, Make my trip) and the accumulated points can be redeemed for various things offered by these partners.

One plastic card will be issued to people wanting to enrol for the loyalty programme. To collect points, one has to swipe this card upon using services offered by the partners and these points can be redeemed against movie tickets also.
