Big FM ties up with Sangharsh for Janmashtami festival

MUMBAI: Big 92.7 FM has tied up with Sangharsh, one of the organisers of the Janmashtami festival 'Gopal Kala Mahotsav 2007' to be held in Mumbai.

As a part of this initiative, Big FM will run on-air and on-ground contests conducted by their RJ's who will be present at the venue.

There will be outdoor broadcast links and live coverage from the venue during the mega 'Dahi Handi' finale competition. The winner of the same will get the opportunity to go on-air.

To promote the festival, Big FM RJs will talk about the festival and its significance across the existing 31 stations during the prime time band. It will also host interviews with the main organizers of the show on all its stations.

Big FM Mumbai station head Arjun Singgh Baran said, "We are extremely excited to be joining hands with one of the biggest organizations for this year's prestigious Janmashtami celebrations.

"It is our constant endeavor to ensure local connect through its programming mix by way of not only entertaining them but also by informing them with a cause inorder to provide a wholesome mix of entertainment. With this new offering, we hope to take this local connect to a new level altogether."
