India holds smallest share in Yellow Pages market

MUMBAI: Global yellow pages revenue increased 2.8 per cent in 2006, reaching $31.62 billion, according to new research from media industry forecast and analysis firm Simba Information.

According to the findings, India holds the smallest market share at 0.092 per cent.

The US remains the largest global market, with a 54.8 per cent share of the directory ad revenue in the 30 countries in this study. The US claim 54.6 per cent of the worldwide directory publishing market in 2005.

Simba projects a slight decline in the 2007 growth rate, then an increase in 2008.
