MUMBAI:
O&M South group president Prateek Srivastava has been
appointed to join the Ogilvy India Board at the company's
board meeting today.
With
over 20 years of experience in advertising, he joined Ogilvy
in December 2000 to head the Bangalore operation and currently
oversees the Lenovo Worldwide Hub operations.
Prior to Ogilvy, he has worked for Lowe (Lintas) at Jakarta,
Indonesia.

India board vice chairman Asia Pacific and executive chairman
and national creative director Piyush Pandey said, "It
is with great delight that we announce that the board of directors
have invited Prateek Srivastava to join the board, in recognition
of his excellent and continued contribution to the affairs of
the company."
Besides
being charged with the responsibility of looking after the
Ogilvy South zone, Srivastava also set up the Lenovo initiative
in India. He will continue to head Ogilvy South and oversee
Lenovo, in addition to his board responsibilities. O&M
South India operation spans Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad.
