MUMBAI: The Nielsen Company has appointed Christophe Cambournac as the managing director for Bases Asia Pacific.

Based in Hong Kong, Cambournac succeeds Marc Lagrois who will return to The Nielsen Company in the US.

In his new role, Cambournac will oversee the Bases business in the Asia Pacific in addition to forging closer client relationships between Bases and ACNielsen in the region, informs an official company statement.

Cambournac will report jointly to ACNielsen Asia Pacific president Nonoy Niles and the Nielsen Company Bases president Timothy Willke.

Prior to his new appointment, Cambournac was VP client services in Bases Europe since 2004. Cambournac brings to Asia Pacific over 14 years experience in market research and business consulting.
