UTV plans big splash for 'Metro' premiere

MUMBAI: UTV is doing a three continent splash around its upcoming release Metro. The film, directed by Anurag Basu, has garnered brand associations worth Rs 22.5 million and releases worldwide on 11 May with a premiere that includes metros like Dubai, London, Melbourne and Mumbai.

Says Siddharth Roy Kapur, EVP – Marketing, Distribution & Syndication, UTV: “We plan to take the film Metro across the globe as it’s the story of people living in a metro, they could be anywhere in the world. Thus keeping this universal theme in mind we premihre the film across prominent metros of the world like Dubai, London, Melbourne, Mumbai backed by a whole host of marketing activities.”
