MUMBAI: As a step in this direction, the year began with Radio City's fresh contracts with partnering communication specialists – Meridien, an Ogilvy group agency, Ogilvy 1 and Hanmer & Partners.

Meridien, which has been appointed as the creative agency, will manage all aspects of brand communications. Ogilvy 1 has been appointed for a 360 degree approach to below-the-line initiatives and a clear focus on trade and the advertiser, while Hanmer & Partners has been engaged as the public relations consultant. Lodestar Universal will continue to handle the media duties for Radio City.

Speaking on the developments, Rana Barua, national head – marketing, Radio City 91.1 FM said, "Radio City is moving from a 7 to a 20-city market while extending a uniform experience across markets. To ensure consistently precise communication and amplified visibility of this evolution to our listeners and stakeholders across multiple mediums, we have new synergies in place."

Added Barua, "Non-differentiation in Indian radio is a phenomenon all private FM stations are facing today. We are focusing on addressing the same and will announce our plans soon."
