Sun sets at GoaFest - McCann Erikson, JWT bag Grand Prix in TV, outdoor

GOA: The Adverting Agencies Association of India culminated the three day festival GoaFest with a grand finale that honoured creative geniuses, awarding two Grand Prix metals to McCann Erikson for their much applauded Happy Dent campaign in the television category, while JWT bagged the honour in the outdoor category for their Kurkure Fire Starter campaign.

The four categories Television, Print, Outdooor and Radio that sought to recognize creative excellence were dominated by McCann Erikson (11 awards), Grey Worldwide (10 awards), Rediffussion DY&R (28 awards) and Leo Burnett (seven awards) respectively, pocketing with the maximum metals.

Trumpets and drums ablast, each of the troupes from these agencies brought the house down at the ceremony and were completely energized to peak their celebrations at the after party that followed.

The top three awardees in each category are as follows:
