"The Technique category examines the elements that make
broadcast ads come alive," said Clio Awards managing
director Tony Gulisano. "This diverse jury of leading
directors, cinematographers, editors, animation and visual
effects experts, music composers and sound designers will
look to honor the year's most outstanding applications of
these components."
The jury will conduct judging in April in Sante Fe, New Mexico,
and winners will be announced at this year's Clio Festival
from 9 to 12 May, in Miami Beach FL.
The Clio Awards is a part of Nielsen Business Media. the
Clio Awards focus on creative work in the fields of advertising
and design, specifically in the areas of TV, print, outdoor,
radio, content & contact, integrated campaign, innovative
media, interactive, design and student work. The Clios also
serve the global design and advertising communities through
its annual festival, publications, newsletter and international
screenings of winning work.
