Hema Malini replaces Sania Mirza as Malabar Gold brand ambassador

MUMBAI: Southern superstar Mohanlal will have a new partner when he faces the camera for a Malabar Gold ad next time.

Sania Mirza, who was signed by the Kerala-based jewellery giant as brand ambassador along with Lal last year, has been replaced by dream girl Hema Malini now.

Reportedly, Malabar Gold decided not to renew Mirza's contract on its expiry after one year and as the company executives maintain, the decision was a mutually generated one. Hema Malini and Mohanlal star in company's new ad which was shot in Mirza's hometown Hyderabad.

The company executives feel that, the evergreen heroine's ageless charm will help them achieve the targets set for the current year.
