The
championship will be held in Delhi on 21 May and in
Mumbai on 14 May. Finalists from the two cities will
contest each other in the grand finale, which will
take place in Delhi.
The
championship entails 15 per cent increase in Rasnas
total ad and promotional spend for the fiscal. The
company has kick started its below the line promotional
activities with a Q card. Q card has been
made available with every one litre pack of Rasna
product, from Rasna Cola Cola to Rasna Jaljira.
Q
card is a card with a letter embossed on the outer
frame of the card. The kid who collects 'Rasna' will
get an original Beyblade worth Rs 300 free; while,
the consumer, who manages to collect I Love
U Rasna would get an exciting Beyblade stadium
worth Rs 1250 free.
The
Q card is also a gateway to Indias first Beyblade
Championship, as it offers a unique opportunity to
Rasna consumers to enter the championship.
Speaking
about the Beyblade Championship, Rasna Pvt. Ltd vice
president marketing Aurobindo Mohanty said, "The
championship comes around the time when every third
child, aged between 4 - 14 years, in the country is
a Beyblade enthusiast. Its an attempt to reach
out to our youngest consumers through the activity
that indulges them the best. The championship will
be geared by several below the line activities."
Rasnas
ad campaign for the Beyblade Quest, Three, two,
one, Ho Ja Shuru sets the ball rolling for the
quest. It substantiates the double-sided benefit offered
by Rasna this season; as with each Rasna summer treat
the child gets to win Beyblade freebies also, an opportunity
to enter Indias first Beyblade championship.
The
ad highlights the multifaceted features of the Q card,
which has a picture of a popular Beyblade character
like Kane, Dunga, Tyson on one side and his competitor
Phantom on the other describing the character in brief.
The card is so designed that the main portion could
be punched out and used as a tattoo.
