MUMBAI: Sprite has rolled out three new television commercials with Sania Mirza, which aims to show what true Sprite-itude (Sprite-attitude) is all about.

This attitude is all about being sure of one-self and confident about what one wants and it reinforces the fact that peer pressure and herd mentality is not for the Sprite-y youth.

This series brings out Sania’s real life Sprite-itude. She is seen here in a completely new avatar. Viewers are used to seeing her on the tennis court. This series is about Sania as a person. From being questioned about the messages she sports on her T-shirt, working out in her neighbourhood gym or being glamorously dressed for a party. Sania reacts to these questions with witty, tongue-in-cheek replies.

The three TVCs pose different questions - like - "Why do you always have something written on your T-shirt," "Why do you play tennis?" and "Why do you wear a nose ring?"

In all the three TVC, consumers would get to see how Sania reacts to these questions in the true Sprite manner. To the - "Why do you wear a nose ring?" question, Sania replies, "I wear nose rings because I don’t have a wedding ring." In the same breath she also says "I drink Sprite, because I like it."

O&M was the creative team who sketched out this series. It was directed by ad film maker Boddhayan, from Black Magic production house and was shot at different locations in Sania's home town Hyderabad.
