This
brand really packs a promotional punchits wacky,
colourful and slightly irreverent characters are a
natural fit for premium-based QSR promos. The Fairly
OddParents will be granting kids meal wishes around
the globe in 2006, said Nelvana executive vice
president business development Doug Murphy.

in April. The six-week TV-advertised kids meal promo
will feature branded in-pack Fairly OddParents

Then
in June, the brand will be featured in a QSR promo

will also run a premium-focused promo for four weeks
this summer.
Summer
will get off to a hot start in France, Belgium, Luxembourg,
Andorra and Monaco as Quick restaurants promote a
character-themed magic box menu including plush premiums,
for a three-week period starting 7 June.
The promotion moves to Quick outlets in the United
Arab Emirates, Reunion Island, Morocco and Algeria
for four weeks beginning in July. The promo will be
supported by a three-week TV ad campaign (France only),
in-store POP, mailing, PR and radio campaigns.
Kids
in the United Arab Emirates will be treated to a second
QSR promo set to launch 15 June in Hardees eateries.
The four-week kids meal campaign, featuring in-pack
premiums, will also run in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar,
Bashrain, Oman, Lebanon and Jordan.
In
July, the promo action moves to Mexico, where Kelloggs

distributed throughout the country in supermarkets,
drugstores, specialty stores and discount clubs.
Rounding
out the brands international QSR tour, Carls
Jr. outlets in Mexico will host a holiday-themed kids
meal promo. Beginning 15 November, Carls Jr.
kids meals will contain one of four figurine designs
