DVD games category has also been targeted with a number of local partners including
Imagination Games for the USA. In addition to the traditional games
categories, other areas under discussion or agreed upon include retail lottery
scratch-cards, role play books (Ebury Press UK), apparel (Todays Trendz
USA), stationery, video game platforms and a wide range of interactive
and mobile products. Endemol head of consumer products Tim Collins said,
"Deal or No Deal offers two main opportunities for us games,
be they versions played for fun or with actual cash rewards, and third party promotional
tie-ins. We have seen a growing interest in Deal or No Deal from potential
licensees, Im sure as a result of the recent success of the UK and US formats,
which builds upon the momentum of a show which is broadcast in over 40 markets
worldwide." |
