TVS Motor to sponsor India - England one day series

MUMBAI: The one day international (ODI) cricket series between England and India slated to begin from 28 March, 2006 is being sponsored by TVs Motor Company.

The company was also the title sponsor for the recently concluded India England Test series.

As the main sponsor of the series, TVs Motor Company is entitled to title ownership of the series, man of the match and man of the series title awards as well. The company also has exclusive ground branding rights.
TVs Motor Company will also present the new 150 CC TVs Apache, a trophy and cheque of Rs 50,000 to the man of the match and a sum of Rs 100,000 along with a trophy to the man of the series.

The matches will be played in Delhi on 28 March, Faridabad on 31 March, Goa on 3 April, Cochin on 6 April, Guwahati on 9 April, Jamshedpur on 12 April and Indore on 15 April, 2006.

The association of TVs with cricket has been increasing over a period of time. The company has now been associated with Tests, One Day Internationals and even domestic cricket in a big way. One of the significant announcements include the appointment of M S Dhoni as the brand ambassador for TVs StaR City.
