Airtel launches Easy Music stores across India

MUMBAI: Airtel has launched Airtel Easy Music stores across India. This service is available for all prepaid and postpaid Airtel mobile subscribers from over 100,000+ Airtel retail outlets.
Through the Airtel Easy Music service, Airtel mobile users need can walk into an Airtel Easy Music outlet and choose their favourite song for download. The retailer will download the desired song to the customer's mobile in 60 seconds either as Hello Tune or ringtone depending on customer's choice.
Bharti Tele Ventures director marketing and communication Hemant Sachdev said, "India is a nation of music lovers. Airtel's innovative Easy Music service brings music even closer to the masses. It not only spells convenience, but offers more choice and better access. With over 100,000 music retail outlets, Airtel Easy Music will provide the largest music bank to all our customers within easy reach. A veritable music industry in its own right, mobile music is set to take the music world by storm and will herald an era of easy access to choicest music."

Airtel launched the Hello Tune service in 2004, marking the debut of mobile music in India. The service has a host of categories that subscribers can choose from like - pop, rock, ballads, trance, blues, techno, rap, reggae, western classical, ghazals, Bollywood songs, old film classics, remixes, devotional songs and Indi-pop.
