Indiagames to create mobile content around Yana Gupta

MUMBAI: Global mobile entertainment content provider Indiagames has signed up Bollywood actress Yana Gupta to develop mobile content themed around her. The company will be making a host of games and other interesting applications around Yana.

Of the many applications that Indiagames plans to launch will be a fitness application for mobile phones. The application will have an animated Yana actually demonstrating a complete body workout along with health and grooming tips. Another application will give users an ideal diet plan recommended by Yana (based on their height and weight).

Yana will also have her own personal Yana zone on Tadka Live! - (a soon to be launched social networking initiative from Indiagames) where she will blog regularly. Her fans can look forward to her sharing insights into her life - the latest happenings, never seen before photographs, tips on grooming, fitness and self development exclusively through these applications developed by Indiagames. Users can also post questions, which she will personally answer on a weekly basis, states an official release.

"Our aim is to target the youth through these applications and Yana Gupta seemed just perfect as she is popular among the youth and is also a fitness expert. We believe "Yana on mobile" will be an interesting as well as an enjoyable experience for mobile users," says Indiagames founder director Vishal Gondal.

"I'm really excited as this will give me an opportunity to directly interact with my fans and share insights into my life. And what better way to reach out to them than on their own mobile phones, "says Yana Gupta. "I will be blogging, answering my fans on a regular basis and do lots more through this medium. I am sure it'll be a lot of fun," added the Czechoslovakian beauty. Apart from these applications Yana will also be involved in a host of other promotional activities from Indiagames.

According to the news release, Indiagames also plans to have Yana in a Lara Croft game in the near future.

Indiagames already has celebrity tie-ups with Mandira Bedi, Zaheer Khan, Mona Singh (Jassi) to develop mobile content; making Indiagames the only mobile content provider to have successful tie -ups with celebrities in the fields of cinema, television and sports.
