IAC Advertising Solutions strikes partnership with Huffington Post

MUMBAI: IAC Advertising Solutions, a division of IAC Search and Media, Inc., has announced a strategic advertising alliance with the website Huffington Post.

As per the partnership, online advertising solutions and sales group IAC Advertising Solutions will be the exclusive national sales force for The Huffington Post's online advertising inventory, informs an official release.

IAC Advertising Solutions VP sales strategy and development Mort Greenberg said, "The Huffington Post has an extremely influential audience and loyal readership and is a perfect partner for IAC Advertising Solutions. Their fresh approach to blend unique ad programs onto their pages will help us capture the attention of media buyers and offer great value for advertisers."

IAC Advertising Solution's strong market relationships and proven ability to drive revenue for many of IAC's own category-leading properties will allow us to ramp up The Huffington Post's profile in the marketplace and increase our on-the-street presence virtually overnight," said Huffington Post GM Sarah Bernard.

"By combining the Huffington Post's strengths and content, and IAC Advertising Solutions' experience, relationships and online advertising infrastructure, we can take full advantage of our growing momentum moving into the second half of 2006."

IAC Advertising Solutions has primarily worked with advertisers, connecting their brands to web savvy consumers. Further, IAC Advertising Solutions uses an approach to sales and business planning to identify the most appropriate marketers and revenue streams for the IAC-owned sites it currently supports.

In the areas of engaging content, The Huffington Post claims to offer innovative online advertising and most recently, it collaborated with JWT Worldwide to offer a first-of-its-kind social advertising model for commercials powered by a blogging platform, adds the release.
