Synovate establishes loyalty practice in Australia

MUMBAI: Global market research firm Synovate, has appointed Mark Poolman to the position of executive director and head of the customer loyalty practice for Synovate in Australia.

Reporting jointly to Synovate in Australia CEO Brent Stewart and Synovate Loyalty practice, Asia Pacific director Frances Li, Poolman will establish a dedicated national customer loyalty research unit.

Stewart said that Synovate’s global Loyalty expertise would translate well into the Australian environment.

He says, "You find the full range of customer loyalty activities in Australian companies – some companies are quite strategic but there are many who could improve their approach and build even more customer loyalty. Indeed it’s an area that is continually evolving and of the utmost importance to our clients.

"Mark is the right person to adapt our best practice global expertise for the Australian market," he said.

Previously an account director in Synovate’s Sydney office with extensive marketing and research experience Poolman has managed projects on behalf of some Australia’s largest and most respected organisations across a broad range of industries, including professional services, financial services, insurance, automotive, retail, healthcare, education, entertainment and tourism.
