MUMBAI: MTV Asia Pacific has announced that Toby Hayward has decided to leave his post as executive VP, ad sales.

Hayward says, “The time is right for me to start a new chapter in my career and seek out different opportunities. In my time at MTV Networks Asia Pacific I’ve had the privilege of working with an incredibly talented sales team and a dynamic set of clients. I’ve enjoyed the ride and look forward to what’s next.”

MTV Asia Pacific president Nigel Robbins says, “Toby is one of the industry’s most experienced and respected sales executives, and been a key contributor in furthering our relationships with regional advertisers. With a client list that is enviable by any standards, he leaves the company well poised for continued success.

“For as long as I known Toby, I’ve always respected his judgment, business acumen and candor. I wish him all the best in his new endeavours.”

Going forward, there are plans to replace Hayward’s role and further news will be announced in due course. MTV Asia Pacific’s ad sales group will continue to deliver strategic, integrated, multiplatform marketing partnerships for clients on regional and global levels.

Hayward joined MTV Networks Asia Pacific in 2004 as executive VP advertising sales. The pan-regional sales team he oversaw leverages MTV Networks’ unique portfolio of brands in Asia across on-air, online, on-the-ground and on mobile platforms.
