Lowe Chennai team wins AAAI-AdFest Young Lotus Workshop contest

MUMBAI: Lowe Lintas' creative professionals Mamta Ramachandra and Sandeep Das from Chennai were adjudged the winning team in the national creative initiative taken by the Advertising Agencies Association of India (AAAI).

 
 

This winning team will be flown to Pattaya on 6 March and will be the official Indian representatives at the Asia Pacific Young Creatives Workshop 2006, which will be held from 7 - 9 March.

They will also be guests of the AdFest, (Asia Pacific Advertising Festival) that is scheduled for 9 - 11 March.

 
 

The AAAI organised this national contest among AAAI Member Agencies and invited entries on the theme Eye Donation. A total of 154 entries were received from 26 agencies.

They were judged by Ambience Publicis vice chairman and chief creative officer Elsie Nanji, Leo Burnett national creative director K V Sridhar and Lintas national creative director R Balakrishnan.

 
 

Announcing the results, the Jury convener Vinod Nair said that this was the unanimous decision of the three judges who picked this unusually non-ad-looking entry, which went straight to the point with its social service perspective.
