NEW DELHI: Rediffusion-DY&R- Public Relations has appointed
Lokesh Tiwary as president. After spending nearly 16 years with
Enterprise Nexus, Tiwary has decided to move on.
Having started his career with Enterprise Nexus in 1990 (then
Enterprise Advertising), Lokesh rose to the position of vice-president
of the Delhi branch of Enterprise Nexus and then took over as
President, Enterprise Public Relations in August 2004.
While in advertising, he has worked extensively across various
industries for clients such as General Motors, LML, GSK, Tata
Tea, Hero Cycles, Radico Khaitan, Dabur, Sony India and Usha International,
an official statement said here today.
The statement quoted Rediffusion-DY&R CMD Diwan Arun Nanda
as saying," Lokesh is a great asset to have on board and
we are absolutely delighted to have him at the helm of our PR
business. Lokesh brings along with him tremendous experience in
advertising and public relations, which is bound to make us offer
superior value to our clients."
According to Tiwary, "Sixteen years is not just a long time,
but a lifetime. But as they say, all good things must come to
an end. Enterprise has been a home to me, a place where I began
my career, a place that bred the best talent that this industry
has ever seen, and a place that was responsible for some of the
most memorable campaigns done in this country. Moving on has been
the hardest decision that I have perhaps ever made."
When he moved to head Enterprise Public Relations, a year and
a half back, the mandate from the management was clear: revive
Enterprise Public Relations. In a matter of just 12 months, the
agency grew by over 40 per cent, adding several businesses to
its kitty.
Talking about his new assignment Tiwary adds with excitement
that one of the first tasks cut out for him is to nurture talent
and "invest thoroughly in training", as the company
operates in a very dynamic industry.
Rediff-DY&R in these years has built a diverse portfolio
of clients ranging from multi-nations, Indian conglomerates to
home grown entrepreneurial ventures. Its client portfolio includes
Bharti, Oracle, Toyota, JK Group, Seimens, Virgin Atlantic, SriLankan
Airlines, CavinKare, Amway, Archies, Cartoon Network, Grand Group
Of Hotels and PVR.
