After the initial blitzkrieg around 2007, the Year of the Bond,
Radio Mirchi will hold on to this position the year round. This,
the station says, is a position of empowerment, taking charge of
one's life, being in control of one's destiny and not allowing anything
to come in the way of one's mission.
The basic philosophy is simple: 2007 is the year when you stop
worrying and you start acting; the year when you let go of fear
and let in courage; the year when you forget the past, and live
in the now. This is the year to believe, to act, to take charge.

The celebrations of welcoming 2007 have already begun with Mirchi
Top 100. The countdown of top 100 music bonds (songs) of the year
2006 is spreading spice on bumper to bumper (the evening show).
The grand finale shall be on the 30 th December evening. Of course,
after such brilliant musical celebration, there will be a special
treat for mirchi listeners on the New Year's Eve in the form of
Here's The Party Tonight.
Along with recapping the special moments of 2006 in every show,
there will be a Mirchi Ke Saath Do Hazaar Saat party. From 9 pm
to 3 am on 31 December, Mirchi will play the hottest party songs
of the year.
