MUMBAI: Airtel has launched the Blackberry Pearl in India and claims
to be the first wireless provider in the Asia Pacific region to
introduce the device.
The
BlackBerry Pearl features in-class technology and is easy-to-use.
Along with BlackBerry's push-mail capability, it features support
for phone, text messaging, organizer, web browsing and other mobile
applications, as well as a digital camera, media player, and an expandable
memory slot for the first time, informs an official release.
The Pearl measures just 107x50x14.5mm and weighs approximately
89 grams and will be priced at Rs. 24,999. It will be available
across all Airtel Edge networks in India. However, the product will
be available exclusively to Airtel customers.
