Mudra's OOH arm Primesite promotes Sanjeev Hajela to president

MUMBAI: Primesite, Mudra Group's specialist out of home communications unit, has promoted VP Sanjeev Hajela to the post of president, with immediate effect.

Commenting on Sanjeev's appointment, Mudra MD and CEO Madhukar Kamath said, "Sanjeev's mandate as the president of Primesite will be to drive growth; and ramp up our brand building work."

Mudra Marketing Services CEO R Lakshminarayanan said, "We have ambitious plans for Primesite. Our vision is to be the first choice for the brand marketers and talent. Sanjeev will play a critical role in the organisation."

Speaking about his new role, Hajela said, "Our intention is to continuously value add to our clients brand building process through better and innovative ideas. I am looking forward to the excitement and challenges the new role will offer me."

With over 18 years of marketing experience, Hajela joined Primesite as chief manager in 2001 and took responsibility for National sales and servicing in 2005. He helped add new dimensions and width to Primesite's portfolio like the identity and signing project for Delhi metro, same for health care institutions and visual work place management for factories, states an official release.

Prior to joining Primesite, he started his career with ITC, managing sales and distribution responsibilities in the Western UP markets. After three years he was entrusted with Trade Marketing responsibilities, which he fulfilled till June 1995. He then joined Brown Forman Beverages Worldwide, a US fortune 500 Company marketing bourbon whiskeys and Wines as a brand manager for Southern comfort and Old Forester and worked with them till 1998. Post this he moved on to join LG Plastika on the new generation advertising materials assignment as the marketing manager and worked with them till mid 2001.
