OMS Ahmedabad bags Sai Infosystems Rs 50 mn account for e-malls

MUMBAI:OMS Ahmedabad (Optimum Media Solutions) has bagged the media business of a new IT Mall brand from Sai Infosystems (India) Private Limited (SIS). The media budget for e-malls is pegged at Rs 50 million in the first year and likely to increase with growing national presence.

SIS plans to launch 16 'e-malls' across India over the next few months .The company is also entering the gaming mall business with the brand 'e-fun' and plans to launch more then 250 'e-funs' in the same cities as 'e-mall'.

An IT based company in Gujarat's SIS, has now entered the retail arena. The company has launched the first-of- its-kind mall for IT products under the brand name 'e-mall'. It will provide consumers a brand experience and help them co-create products of their choice. 'e-mall' showcases all major IT brands under one roof at the best guaranteed deals, informs an official release.

OMS president Chandradeep Mitra said, "OMS Ahmedabad has a history of partnering visionary entrepreneurs from Gujarat who make their presence felt at a national scale. We believe we have one more such client in SIS."

"Retail is an exciting category for any agency to work on. Since e-mall is into IT retail, we will have to deal with unique challenges and our perspective will always be beyond just media, which makes it a very exciting business to handle" says OMS Ahmedabad head Prashant Gadhavi.

SIS director Vijay Mandora said, "For us OMS is not simply a media agency. In fact, considering the kind of insights they have given us on various markets, they have been in true sense our business partner's right from day one."

OMS Ahmedabad's key clients inclyde Paras, Ajanta/Oreva Group, Electrotherm (Yo bikes), Panasonic Toughbook laptops and Office Automation Systems, Ramdev Masala, Graffiti Tiles, Jade Blue Retail, MICA, NID and IIM Ahmedabad.
