MUMBAI: There's a new public service advertising campaign from Channel [v]'s kitty and this time they are showcasing Mumbai's municipal mess in a new light. Named Co-operation Games 2006 ,it is a series of irreverent promos which showcases the chaos and the havoc and wreckage that the monsoon brought to the city of Mumbai.

It also puts to test the spirit of every mumaikar as they 'sportingly' traverse the city's disrepair day after day!

The series is hosted by three memorable characters who essay the roles of local government officials - Mr Roadekar, Mr. Ghade along with their tea-drinking co-worker Mandali.

At the heart of these vignettes are the games that one has to participate in to get to their destination. So whether it is climbing over heaps of garbage strewn on roads, jumping across open manholes and potholes, wading through stagnating rainwater and more, the games have just begun.

Channel [v] Head Honcho Amar K Deb says, "[v] Co-operation Games is a tribute to the city of opportunity...a city that never gives up! When we fall into an opportunity (read: open manhole) we take charge and make the most of it! Mumbaikars today go through an obstacle course of potholes, open manholes and garbage dumps to get from one point to another. The series of promos titled Co-operation Games 2006 is our way of making their plight public!"

Over the years, Channel [v] has conceptualized and won accolades for innumerable, innovative promos like Wear a Helmet campaign, Mona Lisa - Stop Letching, Happy Dent Smile for [v] Contest to name a few.
