MUMBAI: Ogilvy India has announced a slew of senior management changes across its India offices. Prateek Srivastava currently president, Ogilvy, Bangalore, has been promoted to group president - Ogilvy South, while Krishna Mohan, president, Ogilvy Chennai will take on the role of national head of training and development for Ogilvy India.

In addition, Srivastava will also function as a Board Partner in this new role and will head all three offices in the South but will continue to be based in Bangalore.

Ogilvy India executive chairman and national creative director Piyush Pandey said, "This new role is in line with our vision to consolidate our supremacy in the Southern markets and is also recognition of Prateek's superb performance in guiding Ogilvy Bangalore to currently being the number one agency in that city in more ways than one."

Pandey adds, "Krishna Mohan has very ably led our Chennai office to great successes over the last eight years and we are confident that he would be an invaluable asset to this function which is critical as we gear ourselves for the future."

It has also been announced that Kalpana Rao will be moving out of the organisation. Commenting on the same, Pandey continues, "On a slightly sad note - I must also share with you that Kalpana Rao has decided to pursue a consulting career of her own. Kalpana set up the Human Resource and Talent function in Ogilvy at a time when we needed it most and is leaving us with a heavy heart but with a legacy of a wonderful team that she has built. We wish her all success in her new endeavour."

Speaking to Indiantelevision.com Rao said, "After having set up the HR department at Ogilvy which I really enjoyed doing, I would like to do something on my own. My stint with Ogivly will end in two months after which I will set up a consultancy firm based in Mumbai, specialising in media and advertising."

Rao has played many innings with Ogilvy India - as media director before the media function moved to Mindshare, and more recently as talent director for the last eight years.
