MUMBAI: Following a multi-agency pitch, Saregama India Ltd has
appointed Lintas Media Group - Initiative as its media AoR with
immediate effect. The company was reported to have spent Rs 110
million in media last year.
Announcing the win, Initiative president
Kartik Iyer said, "With a huge repository of entertainment, the
opportunities are unlimited and we hope to partner the client in leveraging
all of his software through every media, conventional and new, and
addressing all of the various audiences across age groups and regions.
It is a truly exciting category to work on and we hope to use all
the skills of the group to bring value to the business over and above
the values of buying efficiencies.
Lintas Media Group media services director Lynn De Souza said,
"Saregama owns the largest music archives in India, one of
the biggest in the world. We feel privileged to be able to service
their needs."
Saregama India marketing head Gavin D'Abreo spoke about the development,
"The body of work that Initiative has already done is what
we were looking for. We are spending quite a bit on media and that
is the reason why we wanted an agency in the first place. Their
thinking and their work was what attracted us the most."
