Arvind Brands brings 'Wrangler' to Bangalore

BANGALORE: Arvind Brands (ABL) fashion denim brand Wrangler opened its store in Bangalore. Brand Ambassador John Abraham along with the representatives from wrangler lit the lamp.

Wrangler currently has 41 stores across the country and plans to open fourteen more stores where the end of the year. Wrangler's theme 'the spirit of the urban cowboy" has been reflected in the stores interiors, as per an official release. ABL has shifted the Wrangler brand focus to being more fashion oriented and youthful.

The floor area of the new store is around 3000 sq. ft., and the average cost per store excluding the apparel is around Rs 20 million. Wrangler has a presence in most metros and tier-one cities, except in New Delhi, where the company is targeting an early entry, states ABL head Communications & Events Vipul Mathur.

Mathur revealed that around Rs 20 million per annum is spent towards print and outdoor media campaigns for Wrangler. Alok Nanda & Co provide the creatives and Maxus look after the media business. The revenues from this brand have been growing at 60-70 per cent and touched Rs 670 million last fiscal. The same rate of growth is expected this year too, adds Mathur.
