MUMBAI: In order to promote its gaming site across the globe, TeenPattiParty.com has signed on Mahima Choudhury as its brand ambassador.

The actress, who first came into the Bollywood scene in 1997 with Pardes opposite Shahrukh Khan, was previously a model.

Launched in June 2005, TeenPattiParty.com has helped connect the global South Asian family digitally, providing the best possible way for gamers to get together and relive their cherished moments playing teen patti, which is the Indian version of poker.

It is expected that Choudhury's popularity will blend with TeenPattiParty.com’s unique online gaming combination of technology and tradition to get thousands of new users signed up.

Choudhury said, “I feel that TeenPattiParty.com is a fantastic way for South Asians to keep a tradition alive, no matter where they live. Moreover, it is a great way for them to connect with friends and families worldwide.”

The announcement is in line with the company’s new schemes which guarantee every new signer $25 to play right off the bat. Added to this, the company promises to match 500 per cent of the first deposit, making this the best offer in online gaming for Indians and other players from South Asian countries.

TeenPattiParty.com will promote its alliance with Choudhury extensively, beginning with a press conference in late May, in New York City and Mumbai.
