"Motorola's design mission of 'Purity with Purpose' aims to
stay true to the design form and yet not compromise on functionality.
Motorola's design mission which is clearly communicated in the Razr
V3 devotes attention to creating products that humanise technology
and put the user at the heart of it all; resulting in un-compromised
beauty based on the strength of minimalism and functionality,"
said Motorola vice president (Mobile Devices, High Growth Markets)
Allen Burnes.
Riding on the success of Razr V3, Motorola has since launched the
Razr V3 Special Edition Black, a strong iconic mobile device that
underscore the design ethos of the brand.
In conjunction with Asia's leading magazine for mobile telecoms
operators, the Asian MobileNews Awards 2005 will once again recognise
the achievements of companies and business people as industry leaders.
Independent and democratic, a Mobie (as the Asian MobileNews Award
is affectionately called) is the only accolade that credits outstanding
companies and individuals and is peer-selected.
"It hardly came as a surprise to us when our readers voted
the Motorola Razr V3 as the Mobile Phone of the Year as well as
the terminal with the Best Mobile Phone Design. With the Razr V3,
Motorola has redefined our perception of mobile handset design,"
said Charlton Media Group deputy publisher and editor Angela McFeeters.
The Motorola Razr V3 has won numerous awards worldwide in recognition
for its break-though design, such as the Most Innovative Product
in the UK's mobile phone industry's most prestigious award show
- Mobile News Awards 2005.
