Confirming the development to Indiantelevision.com, Gambhir said, "J&J is an excellent place to work in where one can get ample professional exposure. I decided to move on for better career options and with this offer from Red Bull, I will be working on the brand at a national level."

At J&J, Gambhir was reporting to head of marketing Alcana Ezekiel. When contacted, Ezekiel was unavailable for comment.

Gambhir will be joining Red Bull in February end and will be based in Mumbai.

Prior to J&J, he has had a short stint with Standard Chartered Bank, as the business development manager - credit cards in Pune.
