MUMBAI: Electronics major LG has launched the world’s
slimmest flat CRT TV -- LG Super Slim TV. LG has currently introduced
the model in 21” category. The 29” category will be introduced
in Q2 ‘05.

Singh Head of Consumer Electronics and GSM, LGEIL said, “We plan
to target 200,000 units of Super Slim by the end of 2005.”
"The unique Technology used for Super Slim TV
is highly advanced with a new Picture Tube, which makes the TV slimmer
by 20 per cent compared to any other Flat TV CPT. This unique benefit
has been achieved through the following LG R&D initiatives:
- 110’ deflection angle with hybrid DY technology
- Innovative CO7 gun with better focus performance."
