Epson launches new range of Inkjet printers

MUMBAI: Epson today announced its arrival as a serious contender in the fast growing Inkjet all-in-one segment with the launch of a new range of Inkjet All in Ones targeting various user segments across the country this month.

The company says that the new range of All in Ones from Epson will give the consumer a chance to “Get More” than what is currently available in the marketplace --- more quality in terms of imaging and printing with to Epson’s revolutionary Micro Piezo technology and built in Photo quality, more economy with features like separate INKdividual Ink cartridges and unique Black Ink Save Mode and more power with features like direct negative and slide scanning, seven in one memory card reader, Photoquicker 3.5 etc.

Commenting at the launch Epson Consumer Products senior business manager G Suresh said, "The All in One segment is extremely important for us. The new Epson All in Ones are competitively priced, loaded with features and offer great value for money. We expect to sell very significant numbers with this range and consequently increase our market share substantially in this category."

An official release said that three new models have been launched and the model likely to kick up a storm will be the new entry level All in One the Epson Stylus CX 1500. This new All in One targeting the home and SOHO segment has a list price of Rs 4995 and is expected to garner a sizeable share of the volume segment of the market.

The Epson Stylus CX 4500 is the power performer being launched to cater to the corporate segment. This model is equipped with Epson’s highly advantageous INKdividual Ink cartridges for greater economy. Other features like 5760x1440 optimised dpi, high speed 15 ppm and 13 cpm for black and colour and built in seven in one card slot for PC free printing make this a real performance AIO. The CX 4500 will be offered at a list price of Rs 7995.

The Stylus Photo RX 630 is a high end All in One targeted at the Professional Photo segment. Equipped with six INKdividual Ink cartridges for economical high end printing, it boasts a resolution of up to 5760x1440 dpi. It has a built in 2.4” colour LCD for PC free editing. It also comes with a seven in one memory card reader. With a list price of Rs 21,295, this AIO is clearly great value for the professional photo segment.

The new range is being launched with a special consumer offer of a free six month subscription to Outlook Money magazine for purchase of any model.
