Designed by Reckitt Benkiser, the new ad for the new formulation
of shoe polish, is being aimed to fllip the flagging market share.
Touted to be worth Rs 2+ million, the ad aims to cash on the strong
brand association that Cherry Blossom still enjoys with Charlie
Chaplin. While the old ad is still on, the new ad has been brought
in to release a new product variant.
According to media reports, the new commercial is more vibrant
and aims to showcase product superiority. The company has decided
take on the Chaplin theme once again as it feels that the humour
still tickles the funny bone of the target audience.
