Over 20 speakers representing the best of broadcast promotion and
design professionals from Europe, North America and Asia will be
present at the conference, along with some of the best in design
and promotion talents in India, who will also share some of their
successes. The key speakers include Star India COO Sameer Nair,
Lee Hunt Associates' Lee Hunt, MTV India's Cyrus Oshidar and SET's
Kunal Dasgupta among others.
According to an official spokesperson for Promax, Indian entries
for the awards were up by 60 per cent in 2003 as against the previous
year. "With nearly 50 per cent of all the winning entries going
to Indian companies, they have set a standard that the rest of Asia
is keen to match and hopefully beat. The biggest single winner was
MTV India in 2003 followed by Sony's MAX and Sahara TV." The
last date for sending entries for the Promax and BDA awards is 11
June 2003.
