| Confirming the developments, Tritons executive
director Vivek Srivastava said that the new wins are worth Rs 90 million
in terms of billings.
"It has been a pretty good beginning for Triton Delhi in the
2004-05 financial year. Close on the heels of Panasonic mobile phones
and Haldiram Snack Foods wins, the agency has picked up two more
accounts in ACL Wireless and Cybermedia."
ACL Wireless Limited is the leading provider of real-time wireless
messaging- based application services to mobile operators, service
providers and enterprises.
On the ACL account, Triton general manager, Ranjan Majumdar said,
"Given the agencys experience in building the youthful
appeal of Samsung mobile phones over five years, they were evaluated
by the ACL team as ideal communication partners in promoting their
messaging application products amongst end-users and service providers
both."
Triton has also been assigned the advertising mandate by the publishing
house Cybermedia for its key magazines Dataquest, PC Quest, Voice
and Data and Living Digital. The effort would be to create communication
to enhance and reinforce an already strong brand image amongst readers
and advertisers, too, according to Srivastava.
For Triton, another reason to celebrate was its performance in
the recently concluded Delhi Ad Club Awards, where the agency won
10 awards in all including the Copywriter of the Year award won
by senior creative director Shashank Gupta.
The other awards included Gold in Indian Languages Single Ad Durables
for Samsung Washing machines, English Single Ad B/W and Colour Consumer
Products for Outlook, English Single Ad Colour Corporate
for Samsung Electronics, English Campaign Durables for Honda
Eterno and English Single Ad B/W Durables for Samsung Air-Conditioners.
Triton also won four Silvers for - Indian Languages Campaign B/W
& Colour Durables for Honda Eterno.
Point of purchase for Uni-Style Image, Indian Languages Single
Ad Colour Consumer Products for Jeet Masale and Corporate
Identity Program for Uppals Orchid Ecotel.
Pleased with his teams effort, Gupta said, "All this
has been possible because of splendid team-work driven by the enthusiasm
and patience in the face of ever-growing client expectations."
