press release says that the Tissot’s innovative touch-screen
technology watch model T-Touch watch sported by Jolie - who plays
the character of Lara Croft in the film - has charmed critics with
its hot looks, sleek style and utterly cool performance. In terms
of design, the T-Touch claims to be a sensuous, harmonious, elegant
and avant-garde timepiece. The release adds that the T-Touch can appeal
equally well to adventurers of the great outdoors needing a precision
instrument; or an object of desire for "fashion-conscious city-dwellers
wishing to remain ahead of their own time."
The release says that Tissot’s T-Touch was selected by Paramount
Pictures to make its big screen debut. The release adds that T-Touch’s
multiple functions made it a natural choice for this action packed
film. By simply touching the crystal, the wearer can activate an
altimeter, barometer, thermometer, compass, chronograph and alarm.
Swatch Group India country manager G Kannan was quoted as saying:
"In this age of advanced technology, the T-touch is an ''intelligent''
watch which is a must have accessory for the discerning customer,
who is tuned into the world of technological gizmos to complement
his lifestyle."
Priced at Rs 27,500, the T-Touch has a stainless steel case and
bracelet that speak of robustness, a sporty nature, and a dial that
gives it a resolutely trendy look.
