 Taraporewalla
had joined the global internet communications and media company, in
May 2002 as director sales and was later responsible for the overall
sales and business development function, says a company release. The
release claims that in the last 12 months, under his guidance the
Indian subsidiary has shown promising growth. He has also played an
integral part in steering the team after the restructuring last year.
As country manager, India, Taraporewalla's responsibilities would
include successful management of the Yahoo! India portal. He will
work towards increasing business opportunities for Yahoo in India.
