MUMBAI: Media independent WPP Media divisions have bagged several
new accounts. Industry experts say that the agency has crossed the
Rs 24 billion mark out of the total ad pie of Rs 55 billion. The
nearest competitor would be fractionally more than one-third of
the above mentioned figure of Rs 24 billion.
Maximize has bagged Nikon and AON International in Mumbai and Aaj
Tak AOR in Delhi. Broadmind has bagged Swanston Multiplex and Standard
Chartered Bank Marathon in Mumbai.
The Mumbai office of MindShare has grabbed Star Cruises and the
Forbes group owned DhanDhanaDhan Infotainment. The Delhi office
is working with GSK Pharma and Healthcare. The Bangalore office
got Levi Strauss India.
MindShare won a fiercely contested pitch against MediaCom and Triton
who pitched for the account that could be in the range of Rs 900
million media account if DhanDhanaDhan spends as much as Playwin.
The DhanDhanDhan lotteries are going to be launched from two states
- Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya.
Earlier, MindShare through the JWT network had pitched for Manipal
group's lottery venture.
