MUMBAI: Percept Advertising has stepped up efforts to get new accounts
and all it's divisions have added several new ones in the last few
months.
The new business gained by Percept Advertising includes - Parle
Agro (almost Rs 150 million worth of business relating to the brands
- Frooti including the recently launched Mango Frooti, Appy, Bailley
and N'Joi), Mastek, Jubilant Organosys Jivan Jor line (previously
known as Vamicol) and all brands from Balrampur Sugar. Percept has
also been empanelled with The Reserve Bank of India and National
Thermal Power Corporation.
"A pretty good haul," says Percept CEO Rajesh Pant while
attributing the new business to the agency's new strategic and creative
focus.
The public relations arm Percept Profile has bagged new independent
accounts such as Raheja group's Inorbit Mall and Mindspace. The
PR wing is also handling public relations for in-house feature film
production house Percept Pictures' new release CU@9.
The event management division Percept D'Mark, headed by Sanjay
Lal, has become a revenue-spinner for Percept Advertising. Recently,
D'Mark bagged Dalmia group company GTC India's new cigarette brand
Platinum and did a 360-degree marketing spin around the launch of
Platinum Ignites.
In the first half of the year, D'Mark also conceptualised the 14-captain's
cricket first campaign for LG Electronics; a 11-city event for Smirnoff;
a promo for Himalaya Drugs involving Zaheer Khan and Yuvraj Singh;
the Hero Honda Indian Sports event in Delhi; the Airtel three-million
cup event; and AR Rahman's show in Mumbai in association with NGO
Mukti. Soon on the anvil is Saurav Ganguly's restaurant that is
opening in Mumbai.
The agency has taken on new people at the middle and senior level
to service the above mentioned business.
