Following the integrated sponsorship/advertising deal, the programme
has been rebranded as Panasonic Mobile [V] Face to Face.
The deals unique integrated package provides Panasonic Mobile
with extensive opportunities to reach Channel [V]s youth audience,
an official release states.
The audience will be shown Panasonic Mobile products via on-ground
concerts, on-air promotions and www.vchinese.com. They will also
have a chance to win tickets to Panasonic Mobile [V] Face to Face
concerts by sending SMS messages to Channel [V].
A total of 12 star-studded Panasonic Mobile [V] Face to Face concerts
will be staged in Mainland China this year four in each of
the main cities of Guangzhou, Shanghai and Beijing. Jay Chou, Jolin
Tsoi and Valen Hsu from Taiwan, William So, Victor Chen and Edwin
Siu from Hong Kong as well as Xu Wei and Huang Zheng from Mainland
China are among the top artists performing in the concerts. The
concerts will be edited into 26 episodes to be broadcast on Channel
[V] as well as on 20 TV networks in Mainland China.
In its third year, [V] Face to Face has a large following
among the Chinese youth. Last year, the programme reached a record
100 million homes in Mainland China, the release claims.
