In addition to this, Wunderman’s Chennai office has won the British
Council direct marketing account while the Mumbai office has bagged
the WNS BPO account for CRM activities. WNS is the second largest
BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) company in India.
Wunderman India’s CEO Rajat Sethi said: “There has been a steady
stream of new business acquired by us. We will be working on Oracle’s
direct communication related activities. The focus will be on relationship
marketing, strengthening ties with enterprise partners and customers
(for Oracle).”
On the Airtel account Sethi said: “Our group agency Rediffusion
has been handling the creative business but the relationship with
us has been formalised recently with a focus on retaining subscribers.”
He added, “We will be handling the entire direct communication requirements
of the brand. The critical aspect will be managing the churn rate
and ensure retention by rewarding customers for subscribing to the
service.”
Sethi is pleased with the performance of Wunderman as the wins
have come from varied categories. “The recent successes can be attributed
to the renewed energy within the organisation. When I had joined
earlier this year, the objective was to re-energise the team and
inspire and motivate them on building business. This is now reflecting
in our work,” he said.
In India, Wunderman clients include Citibank, Ford, ICICI Prudential,
DHL, Taj Hotels and Canon amongst others.
