A medianet release informs that the products include exotic jams,
fruit juices, marmalade, cut fruits, pickles and asparagus - processed
and bottled at the Bhutan Agro Industries factory located twelve
kilometers away from the capital Thimpu, at Wangchutaba.
The release claims that Bhutan Agro Industries is technologically
well equipped and its products are completely free of chemical preservatives,
artificial colours and other harmful ingredients.
In Bhutan, fruits and vegetables are grown without the use of chemical
fertilisers and pesticides, says the release. Once procured, these
are cured and processed using the most advanced Danish technology
and untouched by hand. Each product is then sent through a stringent
quality check.
