MUMBAI:
Mobile service provider Orange has announced that it has brought
the international KEO project to Mumbai by which Mumbaikars can
send a message through SMS which will be stored uncensored onto
the KEO satellite.
The satellite will be launched towards the end of 2003 with messages
from all corners of the globe.
The
number is 9820018700. One can send the message in any language which
will be valid across all Hutchison affiliates. One also has to mention
mother tongue, sex and date of birth. People
can also send a message by post to The Embassy of France in India,
2 Aurangzeb Road, New Delhi 110011. They can also log on to the
site www.neo.org.
Orange
VP, corpoarte marketing Sanjeev Vohra says, "The KEO project stands
for unique innovative and a personalised experience. It upholds
the qualities that orange stands for. We are offering this service
to every Mumbaikar whether he/she is an orange user or not." In
Kolkata and Delhi Command and Hutch will be used respectively.
