BANGALORE:
Tea brand Lipton Taaza claims to have given away over 25 lakh prizes
in innovative consumer promotional campaigns. Through the Jo
Chaho Woh Pao! offer conceived by HLL Lipton Taaza, the company
launched a mass media campaign with extensive advertisements on
leading television channels and newspapers and magazines across
the country.
To
participate in this campaign, the consumer had to purchase a pack
of Lipton Taaza and then search for a coupon inside. While most
of these packs contained a coupon, denominations differed from pack
to pack. Seven consumers hit the jackpot with the first prizes of
the Jo Chaho, Woh Pao! campaign. In Delhi, the winners were
given two minutes to pen down the items they desired from the master
wish list of 35 attractive items. Prizes were sponsored by Lipton
Taaza and included Hyundai Santro car, Rs 1,00,000 in cash, 20 tolas
of gold, a diamond necklace, a computer, a foreign trip for two
and a refrigerator. Besides
this, Lipton Taaza has also planned to give away 1,500 diamond pendants
as second prizes and over 50,000 free packs of the Lipton Taaza
tea as third prizes. Also, gifts were guaranteed on purchase of
almost all packs of 500 gms, 250 gms and 100 gms of Lipton Taaza,
which included redemption offers as well as gold plated pendants.
