BenQ, AU Optronics launch new LCD monitor range

NEW DELHI: BenQ has launched its latest range of LCD monitors in widescreen format, showcasing three new LCD monitor models - the 15" T52WA, the 19" T92WA and the 24" G2400W.

 

The panels used in the monitors are manufactured by AU Optronics.

Says BenQ India Marcom Head Ish Bawa, "This marks our association with AU Optronics on a larger scale. Earlier we were using their panels but only for the larger sized monitors. With this association, we can make LCD monitors available to the home users who wish to upgrade from CRTs but haven't done so because of the cost factor."

"AU Optronics is a premiere LCD panel manufacturing company and with the fast response time their panels have, the viewers will have a really good experience playing games or watching a movie," Bawa added.

The new LCD monitors are marked by practical features and specifications, offer a high contrast ratio and aim to provide an extensive range of LCD monitors widescreen format to the users. The new range aims to deliver superior performance for everyday business, education and home entertainment applications.

 

BenQ G2400W - the 24" LCD monitor features 'senseye+photo' technology and is Vista premium certified. The new LCD monitor incorporates a host of user-centric technologies, a contrast ratio of 1000:1 and a fast response time of 5ms to ensure a superior viewing experience for fast-moving dynamic videos.

The 'senseye+photo' technology ensures on-screen colour accuracy for precise colour editing which makes it an ideal choice for professionals related to the photography industry, gamers and home users. The monitor is priced at Rs 25,000.

BenQ T92WA - the 19" LCD monitor - has been positioned by the company as a 'Tough' monitor, when it comes to functionality, reliability and value.

The T92WA LCD monitor displays videos, pictures and every type of data vividly and has a response time of 5 ms, web-browsing and motion pictures. With a contrast ratio of 800:1, high 'DynamicContrast' ratio of 2500:1 and a rich 16.7 million colour display, the new LCD monitor promises a sharp display.

The T92WA also includes popular D-sub connectivity and benchmark Windows Vista Basic certification. The monitor is priced at Rs 9,000.

BenQ T52WA - the 15" LCD monitor - is a practical, space-saving widescreen monitor with a 8ms response time, 16.7 million colour display and a 400:1 contrast ratio. Its specifications and affordable price make it the best choice for users wishing to upgrade from their outdated CRT monitors to modern LCD monitors. The monitor is priced at Rs 7,200.

All models will be available in India through BenQ dealers and IT zones.
