BANGALORE: Global Talent Metrics (GTM) has entered into an partnership with i-mint, a consumer rewards program.

GTM is a talent technology company that offers human resource products and a repertoire of intellectual property to help organisations better combat human capital challenges. This includes talent acquisition, selection, engagement and retention.

GTM also announced the launch of STARREFFERAL, a Web 2.0 based talent referral system. GTM has a database of around half a million referrers and it plans to enhance this by leveraging the 4.5 million users of i-mint card.

Very simply, one of the tools that GTM plans to use for head-hunting is: A profile of the card user will be created based on the spending pattern and the information provided by the card user. Depending upon the talent requirements of its clients, GTM will approach the card holders that match the profile and ask them for the reference of someone they know who matches the client’s requirements.

Every successful online referral will be awarded with i-mint points. In effect, GTM will be using the services of 50000 talent hunters rather than the ten or fifteen people that most companies have.

Loyalty Solutions & Research Ltd (LSRL) is the company that has launched i-mint loyalty rewards program.

Unlike a single brand loyalty program, the i-mint card does not restrict its members from shopping at a particular place or purchase a particular product. I-mint points can be earned at any of the partner or merchants outlets in 22 cities in India. LSRL ceo Vijay Bobba is confident of growing the number of card holders by 80 percent this year.

While speaking with indiantelevision.com on the sidelines of the press conference, Bobba revealed the his company is in talks with companies in India for their rewards management programs, so that employees could be rewarded with i-mint points instead of the conventional coupons, vouchers or cash dispensation.

Summit HR Worldwide (Summit) chairman Ranjan Sinha said, “Companies today are exploring various ways and employing different recruitment tools to hire the right talent in the most cost-effective and efficient manner. With the support of GTM, Summit has helped companies like Yahoo, Max New York Life, and Thomson Financial to find talent at record speed and lower costs per hire and hence a platform like STARREFFERAL is a must to have arsenal in today’s battle for talent.”

Summit had recently partnered with GTM in a pilot project for head hunting for companies such as Yahoo, Tektronics among others.
